It's reported that the US Court of International Trade (CIT) has affirmed the determination of the International Trade Commission (ITC) to withdraw the antidumping (AD) duty on stainless steel strips and sheets from Mexico.
The CIT found that the revocation of the AD duty on Mexican stainless steel sheets and strips is not likely to cause any continuation of the dumping.
In the background, the AD duty was imposed in 1999 in the stainless steel sheets and strips imported from Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, the UK and South Korea.
